when you are starting the rib in the round, do you add another stitch then knit 2 together or ssk

Hello! I’m actually having trouble with your cowl pattern from 3 yrs. ago, the lovely fan/ feather one. I cast on 170 sts. after doing row 3 of the lace section, it added 20 sts. which doesn’t work with the pattern the next time I do row 3. Any help would be appreciated.

Ahhh, cars… they never make that weird sound when you take it to the garage! Glad you are back on the road for…yarn shopping!!! Ups & downs of “What to Make Next Department”… It’s nice to know all (most ??) of us try to make a project work, and then arrrgggh…!! Depending on how stubborn (determined) I am in the moment, I always try again. Too many disappointments and I’m off to find/make a completely different thing. The yarn you picked for the "Love note" looks gorgeous! Also, in my opinion always, that loose gauge is different from the previous one. The previous one looked wrong, this one looks fluffy, so I think it will look fine! The new merino sock yarn you found looks also good and it comes in so many colours! I do wish they will sponsor your videos, why not? Looking forward to seeing your progress on the new sweater 🥰🧦🧶

Love the purple sock yarn in fact I loved all the yarn smith sock yarns you showed, but I just cant buy anymore just yet lol as I have to use up what I have first😄 I like your pretty red scarf too and using up your nords scraps to make another is a great way to save them.

Hi Sorry I’m late to the party I’ve just picked up my knitting needles after 30 years 😱and I’m a bit rusty. I am just following your tutorial on knitting socks on 9 inch circular needles which I’m loving you explained everything so well. I had tried dpns and I absolutely hate them so discovering the 9 inch circular is a game changer. I noticed in your video you are knitting those gorgeous fox mittens on a 9 inch circular I was wondering can you knit the whole mittens on these ? Or would I have to use dpns for them which would rule these out for me. Sorry for all the questions I do love your channel x

I made a love note with a very cheap yarn and I LOVE IT! I omitted one lace row because it was going to hit my bust line (not good for me). It's a lovely pattern, I recommend it 110% Good to know the clutch it's fixed, my husband is right now changing one of my car's tire, it got stabbed yesterday 😫😫😫. Fortunately it's under warranty. If you’d like a striped scarf that does not roll perhaps you could check the okapia scarf by Witre Design :) It’s a very simple scarf that comes in two widths. I made a skinny version but there’s also a wider one in the pattern. Hope that helps! 😊

Best way I’ve found to stop curling is an icord edge. I use it on scarves and all my blankets. Love visiting as always Xxxx Deb South Australia

Hi Tina, I too love wool Warehouse and I did get excited that they have now have their own sock yarn but unfortunately I need to resist the temptation to purchase more as I have a few different brands to get through, but I am using their own aran and dk and I find them very nice to use. Another good video as usual oh and I must say I blame you for one of my purchases the book you made vixen from I couldn't resist it, that's for my winter projects, can't wait to see how the jumper works out I'm tempted I've never done an actual garment in the round one day I might brave it.

I wear a scarf winter and summer 😸😽 I recently made a scarf using whistlebear yarn I made the fine vine Lace scarf the pattern comes with the yarn- I’ve made 4 actually for my mother and daughter,s and niece so this is my fifth one! Whistlebear uses their own Wensleydale sheep 🐑 and goats 🐐 wool and silk mohair. It’s gorgeous! Iv just found your videos so I’ll be watching them all! I’ve subscribed 😽

Always good to see you Tina! I need to figured out my sweater knitting. I have a problem where even if I size down needles, appear to get gauge, even knit a size down, my sweaters end up so baggy and boxy, and I’m not a tiny person! I may need to bite the bullet and learn how to add waist shaping (I prefer a fitted look also) and maybe avoid superwash wool.

I agree with you Tina, the tighter gauge looked better! Making a scarf instead it's a great alternative in my opinion. It hasn't crossed my mind that people don't wear scarves anymore, I still do, am I out of fashion? 😲😜 Have fun planting your flowers and looking forward to seeing you again 🥰🌺🌼🪴🧶

Hi Tina, I did smile at your knitting dilemmas. I thought I was the only one who overthinks things. It takes me ages to make up my mind about yarn, needles, swatching etc Also, I’m glad you decided to knit the scarf, not for content but just because you want to. I think ‘we’ come mere for you and whatever you’re up to. A nice chatty video - I thought the sheep content was to indicate how slow the soaking/blocking content is 🤣🤦🏼‍♀️. I think the yarn will make a pretty scarf. I do wonder, though, if blocking would have affected how your stitching looked in the Tolsta. But you know best. If you don’t like it enough to wear it, totally worth changing course!
